Artist verification

Attest the data source.

Signing into dots.id proves who you are. The attestation is the extra sentence: this Spotify for Artists (or Apple, or YouTube Studio) account is the source for this catalog. After that, connect the dashboard in Songdata’s sandbox Chrome — no browser extension. Without that, Songdata will only ever show data estimation.

Data sources to attest

dots.id signs the person in with Authorization Code + PKCE. Songdata stores the account as (https://www.dots.id, sub) and never merges by email, wallet, or username. Demo attestation stays in this browser so you can see verified vs estimated without leaving the site.
